It started with a book. After writing The Narrow Road Life, our founder thought he was done. But the story was just beginning.
He stepped into Urban Missionary work, meeting one-on-one with people in coffee shops and bars who had walked away from the faith. Believing God had called him to plant #BibleTeach Church, he moved forward—but the plant collapsed. He was a Failed Church Planter.
So he began again. God told him, "Teach them how to publish." He became a Publisher.
Then came the coffee. Not a shop (yet), but a Dropship Coffee Company with a specific assignment: to pay off his own student loans so he could enter ministry unencumbered, and to fund scholarships so future pastors could graduate debt-free.
But God kept showing further down the road.
He showed David that this wasn't just books or beans. It was a full Media Company. A team of "peculiar people" began to join him on the way.
If you think books and coffee are a lot, wait until you see what's next: Podcasts. Talk Radio. Three streaming music stations. A dedicated App. And on the horizon? An AM Radio station.
And that church plant? The call is back.
This time, exactly as God originally showed him: A church truly disguised as a coffee shop in Wichita, Kansas.
FAITH Talk.media is the ecosystem for it all.
It is a testimony to a simple truth: Look what the Lord has done.
FAITH Talk.media operates as an L3C — a Low-Profit Limited Liability Company. Unlike a nonprofit or a traditional business, an L3C must have a primary purpose that is not profit, but instead supports a charitable mission.
We tithe 10% of GROSS revenue — not net profit.
This is our gratitude. This is our witness. This is our identity.

We fully believe you’ll find your favorite new blend in our collection. Whether it’s John the Baptist (our Dark Roast), Paul (our smooth Medium Blend), or Mary Magdalene (our bright Blonde Roast), we have a coffee to start your day. If you prefer espresso, try Adam. And while we still don't believe it's really true, some people do crave decaf espresso—we call ours Judas, because betrayal is real.
10% of online sales support Moody Theological Seminary.
Our local locations are “Churches Disguised as Coffee Shops.” Intentionally led by bivocational teaching pastors.
The L3C owns the property to protect the mission, allowing the church to use the space for free.
